OPTTI CLOSING

It is with great sadness that the Oxford Play Therapy Training Institute and Counseling Center (OPTTI) announces its closing as of June 27, 2008.

We have served children in North Mississippi since July, 2001.  All of us at OPTTI want to express our gratitude for all the support we have received over the years, and to express our hope and good wishes for the children of Mississippi.

Also over the last seven years, we have provided play therapy training for clinicians throughout the area.  These trainings will continue to be provided by The University of Mississippi's School of Education, Leadership and Counselor Education Program.  For more information on trainings available at The University of Mississippi please contact either Dr. Marilyn Snow at mssnow@olemiss.edu or Ms. Mary Leach at mleach@olemiss.edu.

We have provided a referral page of local therapists who counsel children.  Again, we wish the best for all of the children in Mississippi.
